"I cannot get rid of my microcomedones. I am using foundation make-up during the day, but I use a gentle daily exfoliant, and a primer for oily skin. However, my bumpy blackheads are persistent, what can you recommend?"

For your home care try a mild, cream-based, enzymatic (Papain and Bromelain) exfoliant; ideally, use one that also contains Lactic Acid or Salicylic Acid to slough off dead skin cells, and Sulfur to clear excess oil and congestion in the follicle. Blackheads can be extremely persistent and create a rough texture. This sounds like Grade 1 acne, which is best treated by a skin therapist who can perform a professional-strength treatment to smooth skin texture and reduce microcomedones.
